The Optimus Autologous Blood Concentrator is the culmination of extensive research and development efforts by our team of experts. Previous success in orthopedics and spine technologies led us to the development of this novel technology that will change the landscape of PRP preparation.
With over 50 years of combined commercial operations and product development experience in the medical device industry, our principals are named investors in nearly 300 patents. Our team has led multiple startups through the regulatory approval process into full commercialization, and onto successful acquisitions.

Randy Allard
Chief Executive Officer
Randy has over 300 medical device patents and over 30 years experience in medical electromechanical device design, research, development, and commercialization. He has spearheaded developments in orthopedics, spine technologies, RF ablation, robotics, hematology, a gene synthesizer, molecular gel ice for organ transplant, and the Bryan Cervical Disc. Randy holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS MBE focused on medical controls and clinical applications.
Paul Benedetto
Chief Financial Officer
Paul brings 30+ years of wide-ranging financial and operations background to the table, including Big 4 public accounting and private industry experience, covering product/manufacturing, services & technology, along with several startups, across the US and Canada. He brings vast know-how on scaling businesses, at any stage of their lifecycle.

Phil Tamminga
Chairman of the Board
Phil has 40+ years of consulting, executive leadership, high tech, healthcare industry, and venture investing experience. Phil spent 24 years at Accenture where he was a senior partner and a co-founder of the CRM practice. His experience there included a wide range of global enterprises including technology, communications, distribution, manufacturing, and utilities. Phil went on to serve as EVP at TriZetto, then CEO and COO at Welltok. Most recently he has worked on entrepreneurial manufacturing and real estate development projects in Romania and is currently an active partner/investor in local and international real estate ventures and several start-up companies in Colorado. Phil has BSBA in Finance and MBA from the University of Denver.
Greg Stalcup
Board Member
Greg has over 30 years in technical and leadership roles within the orthopedic industry. He is the founder & CEO of Sites Medical and co-founder & Chairman of Mach Medical. He began building Sites Medical in 2008; he previously held multiple positions within the orthopedic marketplace including Director of R&D (Zimmer & Biomet) and President (Avalign Technologies/Nemcomed Division). Greg is a graduate of Indiana Perdue Fort Wayne, with a Bachelor's Degree focusing on Engineering and Management.
